Accor, a world-leading hospitality group, has unveiled the HERA Challenge, a new global initiative designed to recognize and reward the most outstanding travel advisors in its HERA loyalty and rewards program. The top 33 performers will be invited on an exclusive, all-expenses-paid journey to Colombia in 2026, with stays at two of Accor's luxury flagships: Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena and Sofitel Barú Calablanca Beach Resort.

Launched in 2024, HERA (hera.accor.com) empowers travel professionals with an enhanced digital booking experience, access to enriched hotel content, real-time activity tracking, and redeemable rewards points. With over 350 luxury and lifestyle hotels from Accor’s prestigious portfolio, including Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, MGallery, and Ennismore lifestyle brands, HERA equips advisors with premium tools to deliver seamless, curated travel experiences.

The HERA Challenge, running from November 15, 2024, through November 15, 2025, recognizes exceptional sales performance across 11 competitive categories. These include top overall revenue earners, regional leaders, brand specialists, and advisors with the most geographically diverse bookings. Final winners will be revealed in December 2025.

Winners will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime hosted trip from March 9–12, 2026, beginning with a stay at Sofitel Legend Santa Clara Cartagena, a restored 17th-century convent offering refined French elegance and historical grandeur in the heart of Cartagena’s UNESCO-listed walled city. The experience continues at the LEED-certified beachfront Sofitel Barú Calablanca Beach Resort, located on Isla Barú, just 40 minutes from Cartagena by boat. The resort features 187 rooms and suites, three signature restaurants, a wellness spa, and immersive local experiences that reflect Accor’s commitment to sustainable and culturally conscious travel.

“We created the HERA Challenge to highlight the vital role travel advisors play in shaping exceptional guest experiences,” said Pascal Visintainer, Global Chief Sales Officer, Accor Luxury & Lifestyle. “This is a celebration of their expertise, dedication, and influence, and a way to reward them with the very kind of transformative travel they create for others every day.”

This initiative not only reinforces Accor’s investment in the advisor community, but also highlights its strategic emphasis on luxury and lifestyle growth, offering advisors a platform to connect with more brands, destinations, and revenue opportunities than ever before.
