Aman appoints Victor Clavell as COO
Aman Group has appointed Victor Clavell as its new Chief Operating Officer. The appointment brings more than thirty years of luxury hospitality operational experience to the group. Clavell has built his career across four continents, including the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. His background includes senior roles with some of the most recognised brands in the global luxury hotel sector.
Victor Clavell joins Aman Group with extensive experience in hotel operations, brand development and international leadership. Over the course of his career, he has worked with leading hospitality names including The Ritz-Carlton, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, EDITION, W Hotels and Rosewood. This broad professional background gives him deep knowledge of the expectations, service standards and operational complexity associated with the luxury hotel market.
Most recently, Clavell served as CEO of Urban Resort Concepts in Hong Kong. In that role, he led the repositioning and international expansion of The PuLi Group. His work there focused on strengthening the group’s market position and extending its presence beyond its existing base.
Before joining Urban Resort Concepts, Victor Clavell held the role of Senior Vice President & Managing Director EMEAC at Rosewood Hotel Group. In this position, he oversaw the company’s portfolio across Europe and the Middle East. His leadership was connected with the successful turnaround of that regional portfolio, adding further depth to his operational track record.
The appointment of Victor Clavell as Chief Operating Officer gives Aman Group a senior executive with global experience across resort, lifestyle and luxury hospitality brands.
