Amàre brings adults-only all-inclusive style to Cancun
Hilton and Fuerte Group Hotels have announced the upcoming conversion of Amàre Cancun Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton in Cancún, Mexico. The resort is scheduled to open on 31 October 2026 and will mark the beginning of Hilton’s relationship with Fuerte Group Hotels. Owned and managed by Fuerte Group Hotels, the property will join Curio Collection by Hilton while expanding Hilton’s all-inclusive presence in one of Mexico’s most in-demand beach destinations. With 429 guest rooms and suites, nine restaurants, nine bars, three outdoor pools and a strong wellness and entertainment programme, the resort is positioned as a new adults-only lifestyle address on the Caribbean coast.
Amàre Cancun Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton will occupy a prime beachfront location on Boulevard Kukulcan, one of Cancún’s most recognised resort corridors. The property sits within a protected bay, where natural currents help preserve the beach and support clear waters for much of the year. The resort is located approximately 24 kilometres from Cancun International Airport, giving it strong accessibility for international travellers.
The resort will feature 429 guest rooms and suites across two adjacent towers. The main tower will rise 20 storeys, while the secondary tower will include six storeys. Each tower will have its own rooftop pool, creating elevated leisure spaces with views over the destination. All guest rooms are expected to offer ocean views, reinforcing the property’s beachfront positioning.
Design will combine a contemporary Mediterranean sensibility with a social, design-forward atmosphere. This reflects the Amàre brand’s focus on adults-only hospitality, lifestyle experiences and coastal sophistication. By joining Curio Collection by Hilton, the resort will retain a distinctive identity while gaining access to Hilton’s global platform, loyalty programme and distribution channels.
Food and beverage will be one of the central elements of the resort experience. Amàre Cancun Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton will offer nine restaurants, nine bars and a coffee shop. The culinary programme will include dining concepts developed with Michelin-starred chefs, blending Mediterranean technique with Mexican ingredients and Latin American flavours.
The resort’s lifestyle concept is built around Amàre’s signature Cosmediterranean identity. Guests will be able to experience curated moments throughout the day, including sunrise and golden-hour rituals, Mediterranean-inspired wellness programming and sophisticated entertainment. Resident DJs and live performers will help shape the property’s social atmosphere, giving the resort a strong day-to-night rhythm.
Wellness and relaxation will also play an important role. Facilities will include a spa with nine treatment rooms, a fitness centre, and a hair and nail salon with a bridal suite. Together with the resort’s three outdoor pools and beachfront setting, these amenities support an adults-only experience focused on rest, style, celebration and personal wellbeing.
The resort will also include immersive art programming. Rotating exhibitions by contemporary Mexican and Latin American artists will bring a cultural dimension to the property, connecting the guest experience with regional creativity. This approach aligns with Curio Collection by Hilton’s focus on independent hotels with distinctive stories, design and local character.
Meetings and events will be supported by nearly 10,000 square feet of space, equal to approximately 926 square metres. This will include a 7,600-square-foot ballroom, giving the resort capacity for social gatherings, destination events and group travel. The bridal suite connected to the salon also supports the property’s appeal for weddings and celebratory occasions.
Before joining Curio Collection by Hilton, the resort will complete brand integration initiatives, including enhancements to selected public areas and food and beverage offerings. These improvements are designed to align the property with Hilton’s platform while preserving the Amàre identity created by Fuerte Group Hotels.
For Hilton, the signing supports continued expansion across the Caribbean and Latin America, where the company has more than 300 hotels across 35 countries and territories, with a pipeline of 150 additional properties. In Mexico, Hilton welcomes guests at more than 100 hotels and has nearly 50 more in development. The project also strengthens Curio Collection by Hilton’s regional presence, where the brand has 25 properties open today and plans to double its footprint in the years ahead.
Fuerte Group Hotels brings its own hospitality heritage to the project. The company is the hotel division of Grupo El Fuerte, a family-owned Andalusian business group founded in 1957 by José Luque Manzano. Its Amàre brand was launched in 2016 with an adults-focused positioning, giving the Cancun project a direct connection to the group’s experience in adult-oriented leisure hospitality.
Amàre Cancun Adults Only All-Inclusive Resort, Curio by Hilton will participate in Hilton Honors, allowing members to access benefits connected with Hilton’s loyalty programme. With its beachfront location, protected bay setting, all-inclusive culinary programme, rooftop pools, wellness facilities, art programming and adults-only positioning, the resort adds a distinctive new option to Cancún’s competitive luxury and lifestyle hospitality market.
