BWH Hotels opens the first @HOME by Best Western in the U.S.
BWH Hotels has officially opened the first @HOME by Best Western property in the United States, marking an important step in the group’s growing extended-stay strategy. The new hotel, @HOME by Best Western St. George, has launched in St. George, Utah in partnership with Prime Hospitality. Designed to combine apartment-style living with the convenience of a hotel stay, the project responds to rising demand for flexible long-term accommodation among both business and leisure travelers. The opening also gives the brand its first operating foothold in the U.S. market.
For BWH Hotels, the debut of @HOME by Best Western St. George is more than a single opening. It represents a clear move to strengthen a modern extended-stay hotel platform built around practical design and everyday usability. The new four-story property offers 92 apartment-style studios, each created to support longer visits with features such as kitchens, workspaces and social patios. Guests also have access to a pool, a large fitness center with health club-grade equipment, and dedicated storage areas for larger items including bikes and skis. This makes the hotel particularly relevant in a destination like St. George, where demand is supported by the presence of Intermountain Health and access to nearby national parks.
The opening also deepens the relationship between BWH Hotels and Prime Hospitality. According to the release, this is the fourth property partnership between the two companies, joining Zion Wildflower Resort, WorldHotels Crafted, Best Western Plus Zion Canyon Inn & Suites in Springdale, and Best Western Mesquite Inn in Mesquite. That wider collaboration gives the St. George project additional strategic weight, showing how both groups are building a broader regional footprint through different hospitality formats. In this case, the focus is on a product that blends the comfort of residential living with the consistency of a branded hotel stay.
The launch also sits within a broader expansion plan for the brand. BWH Hotels said the global pipeline for @HOME by Best Western is projected to reach 34 hotels and 2,791 rooms by the end of 2026. The St. George opening follows a recent debut in Walkerton, Ontario, and will be followed by another U.S. opening near Atlanta, Georgia, planned for late 2026. As a result, the arrival of @HOME by Best Western St. George signals the start of a wider rollout for a brand that is being positioned to capture growing demand for well-designed, flexible and value-driven long-stay accommodation.
