Cambria Hotels Expands Footprint with Four New U.S. Openings
Cambria Hotels, part of Choice Hotels International, Inc., has expanded its portfolio with the opening of four new properties in Templeton, California; Tampa, Florida; Plymouth, Massachusetts; and Portland, Oregon. These additions highlight the brand’s focus on offering design-forward, locally inspired stays in both high-demand and emerging destinations. With nearly 60 hotels in the pipeline, Cambria continues to strengthen its position in the upscale hotel segment, backed by Choice Hotels’ global portfolio of more than 110,000 rooms.
In Templeton, California, the 132-room Cambria Hotel Templeton introduces guests to the heart of wine country near Paso Robles. Powered by solar energy, the property integrates eco-conscious practices with regional flair, including curated experiences such as horseback riding, ziplining, and wine tastings through an exclusive partnership with Margarita Ranch. The Ironhorse Restaurant and Bar showcases local flavors with seasonal menus and regional wines.
In Tampa, Florida, the 104-room Cambria Hotel Tampa offers a tailored experience for cruise travelers. Its Snooze & Cruise Package provides breakfast and parking for the duration of a guest’s voyage. With easy access to Busch Gardens, the Florida Aquarium, and the Tampa Riverwalk, the property enhances Cambria’s presence in the state with its fifth Florida location.
In Plymouth, Massachusetts, the 107-room Cambria Hotel Plymouth reflects the character of coastal New England. Located near historic landmarks like Plymouth Rock and Cape Cod National Seashore, the hotel features flexible meeting spaces for up to 120 people and pet-friendly amenities, including an on-site kennel. This marks Cambria’s third opening in Massachusetts.
In Portland, Oregon, the Cambria Hotel Portland debuts as the brand’s first property in the state. Located in the Pearl District, it features 178 rooms, nearly 1,400 sq. ft. of meeting space, and a locally inspired restaurant, Recess, which connects to the neighborhood’s cultural and artistic spirit. Its location offers proximity to boutique shops, restaurants, art galleries, and downtown Portland.
With these openings, Cambria Hotels reinforces its strategy of expanding into strategic leisure and urban markets while maintaining a strong focus on local design, guest experiences, and upscale hospitality.
