Campanile Launches Ambitious Hotel Revamp in Paris Region with PRIME and NATURE Concepts
Campanile, part of the Louvre Hotels Group, is accelerating its large-scale renovation initiative in the Île-de-France region with the introduction of two new brand pillars: Campanile PRIME and Campanile NATURE. Aimed at elevating guest experience and reinforcing the brand’s identity, this transformation marks a significant investment in modernizing rooms, common areas, and services across more than 20 hotels by the end of 2025.
In a strategic move to revitalize its presence in France’s competitive midscale hotel market, Campanile has initiated an extensive renovation program across its network—focusing primarily on its company-owned hotels in and around Paris. The initiative is being rolled out under two newly introduced sub-brands: Campanile PRIME, tailored for a premium guest experience in urban settings, and Campanile NATURE, designed to reflect a serene, eco-inspired ambiance in more natural environments.
So far, approximately a dozen hotels in the Île-de-France region have undergone renovations, including complete upgrades to guest rooms, façades, public spaces, and outdoor areas. By the close of 2025, over 20 properties in the Paris region are expected to reflect the brand’s renewed identity. This effort aligns with Campanile’s core values of warm hospitality, local cuisine, and a friendly, accessible atmosphere, while adapting to the contemporary expectations of travelers.
The hotel chain is focusing on tangible guest comfort enhancements—offering thicker and softer mattresses, premium pillows, 100% cotton duvets, relaxing rainfall showers, and plush bath linens. This renewed focus on quality extends beyond aesthetics to embrace thoughtful touches that improve rest and relaxation.
The two new formats introduced as part of this transformation embody distinct concepts:
-
Campanile PRIME caters to business and urban leisure travelers looking for enhanced services and modern design.
-
Campanile NATURE is a more tranquil alternative that invites guests to reconnect with nature through biophilic design elements, softer colors, and eco-friendly materials.
The positive effect of the initiative is already evident in guest satisfaction scores. The newly renovated Campanile PRIME – Paris La Villette and Campanile NATURE – Villennes-sur-Seine properties have recorded guest ratings of 4.27/5 and 4.07/5, respectively. These early results demonstrate the successful reception of the brand’s evolution and underscore the appeal of personalized, locally adapted hotel experiences.
This bold repositioning strategy not only enhances Campanile’s brand image but also supports the Louvre Hotels Group’s wider transformation plan across its midscale portfolio in France and Europe. By modernizing its assets while respecting the diversity of its locations and clientele, Campanile is reaffirming its commitment to staying relevant in a fast-evolving hospitality landscape.
