Campanile Toulouse Sud Balma - Cité de l’Espace has completed a comprehensive renovation of its 85 rooms, marking a significant milestone in the hotel’s history. The €1.2 million investment reflects Louvre Hotels Group’s commitment to upgrading its Campanile brand, enhancing comfort, design, and sustainability for modern travellers. The transformation renews the property’s appeal, situated just minutes from Toulouse’s Cité de l’Espace and major transport links.
Originally built in 1990 and opened in 1991, the hotel had not seen a major refurbishment since 2010. The 2024 renovation, led by Castillo and Stratobois, specialists in hotel refurbishments, involved a complete redesign of the rooms—including five fully accessible for guests with reduced mobility. The focus was on high-quality materials and optimizing space to meet evolving guest expectations for functionality and comfort.
Beyond design, the hotel reinforces its commitment to sustainability and inclusivity. It has held the Clef Verte eco-label for over ten years and is certified under the Tourisme & Handicap programme for all four disability categories. The on-site restaurant, with seating for 100, sources products from local partners like Di-Costanzo and Epi-Nup Bio, supporting a responsible, high-quality dining offer. Business travellers benefit from four meeting rooms and easy access to Toulouse's main attractions.
The renovation reflects a larger strategy within Louvre Hotels Group to modernize and revitalize the Campanile brand. With long-time partners like the Pagès family investing in this transformation, the hotel is positioned as a benchmark for the future of the network.
