Capella Hotel Group has launched Capella Residences Seoul Club, billed as Korea’s first residents-only club managed by a global luxury hospitality brand and a prelude to the opening of Capella Residences Seoul in 2028. Set in Hannam-dong, the Club gives future owners early access to the brand’s signature blend of culture, design and wellbeing through curated dining, social and fitness spaces. The debut signals an intensified push into branded residential living in Seoul, anchoring Capella’s ultra-luxury positioning with service, programming and design detail. Private appointments are now available at the Club ahead of the residences’ 2028 debut.

Conceived by Liaigre, the Club’s interiors weave Seoul’s urban-forest topography into refined, tactile spaces that dissolve the edge between indoors and out. Guests move from The Living Room on level two, a signature Capella salon animated by bespoke Capella Rituals and Capella Moments led by in-house Culturists, to The Boxing Club, a sensorial wellness sanctuary that pairs vintage styling with modern recovery technology. Dining spans The Dining Room by Hulotte on level three, helmed by chef Seung-jun Lee of Hulotte, and The Roof on level four, where Chef Ambassador Edward Lee brings a modern-heritage culinary program that bridges Korean ingredients with global technique in a panoramic setting. Together the venues frame a lifestyle built on connection, craft and place, designed expressly for residents.

The Club also previews the design language of the forthcoming residences, a 222-unit project by Olson Kundig, with the community clubhouse in Heonin Maeul crafted by David Chipperfield, a Pritzker Prize laureate. Located at 4, Dokseodang-ro 35-gil, Yongsan-gu, the Club underscores the project’s city-meets-nature narrative while underscoring Capella’s recent brand momentum across Asia. Capella’s portfolio now stretches from Singapore and Bangkok to Shanghai and Macau, with Seoul among future openings, and the brand has been named Travel + Leisure’s Best Hotel Brand from 2023 to 2025, reinforcing the service ethos that will underpin the residences.

Beyond hospitality touchpoints, the Club’s operating model emphasizes belonging and everyday enrichment, positioning Capella Residences Seoul as a blueprint for high-end urban living in Gangnam and its surrounds. With access to cultural programming, culinary studios and elevated wellness, residents will step into a private ecosystem that mirrors a flagship hotel while remaining resolutely residential. As a statement of intent for branded lifestyle real estate in the capital, the Club affirms Capella’s long-term vision for Seoul and sets clear expectations for the level of craftsmanship and personalization coming in 2028.
