Located at the prestigious intersection of Calea Victoriei and Elisabeta Boulevard, the hotel occupies a building originally inaugurated in 1873. Once celebrated as Bucharest's most distinguished hotel, it was the first in the city to feature electric lighting and an elevator. Over the years, it has hosted royalty, dignitaries, and cultural icons, solidifying its status as a national monument recognized by the Romanian Ministry of Culture. The recent restoration led by QP and interiors designed by GA Design have meticulously preserved the Belle Époque grandeur while integrating contemporary sophistication.

The hotel offers 30 exclusive suites, each designed to provide an intimate, residential atmosphere within a palatial setting. Guests can enjoy bespoke furnishings, expansive windows that flood the rooms with natural light, and modern amenities tailored to the needs of today's travelers.

Culinary experiences at the Corinthia Bucharest are set to redefine the city's dining scene. Boulevard 73, situated in the former grand ballroom, offers a fusion of French and Romanian cuisines in an opulent setting adorned with ornate ceilings and crystal chandeliers. Sass’ Restaurant & Lounge, an extension of the renowned Sass' Café Monaco, brings Mediterranean flair to Bucharest, featuring dishes like Wagyu beef and caviar in a chic baroque-style space designed by G&M Design. As night falls, Sass’ transforms into a vibrant hotspot with resident DJs. The Heritage Bar pays homage to Bucharest's golden age, offering an elegant afternoon tea service and a signature cocktail menu inspired by the city's rich history.

For wellness enthusiasts, the Corinthia Spa provides a sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation. The spa features a peaceful relaxation room, a fully equipped gym, and two private treatment rooms offering bespoke treatments, including those from the acclaimed brand 111SKIN. Signature thermal experiences include a White Sauna with Himalayan salt walls, a custom steam bath with a starry-skied ceiling, an ice fountain, and a multi-sensory experience shower with aromatherapy.

Art and design are integral to the hotel's ambiance. Floral arrangements by Nicu Bocancea, founder of Bucharest's floral boutique Iris, create an inviting atmosphere. The walls are adorned with captivating works by British artist Simon Casson, curated by art consultant Minda Dowling. Additionally, the hotel's signature scent, Elysee, crafted by perfumer Cristina Balan, infuses the spaces with a luxurious fragrance.

Emphasizing cultural immersion, the hotel has established partnerships with local artists, performers, and institutions, offering guests exclusive access to Bucharest's artistic and historical treasures. Unique experiences, such as heli-bear spotting day trips to the nearby Carpathian Mountains, further enrich guests' stays with authentic connections to Romania's natural beauty.

The opening of the Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard Bucharest represents a harmonious blend of heritage and modernity, setting a new standard for luxury hospitality in Romania's capital.
