Preferred Hotels & Resorts has welcomed Dusit Thani Bangkok to its Legend Collection, adding the renowned Thai property to its global portfolio of exceptional independent hotels. The move reinforces the collection’s presence in the Asia Pacific region and underlines the hotel’s standing in luxury hospitality. Located beside Lumpini Park, the property reopened in late 2024 following a major transformation within the new Dusit Central Park development. Its addition reflects the focus of the Legend Collection on landmark hotels with a strong sense of place, heritage, and service excellence.
The renewed Dusit Thani Bangkok has been presented as a modern interpretation of the brand’s long-established Thai hospitality identity. The hotel features 257 guestrooms and suites designed to capture natural light and expansive views of Lumpini Park and the Bangkok skyline. Its interiors, created by André Fu, combine contemporary elegance with elements inspired by Thai craftsmanship and local cultural detail. The property also places strong emphasis on its dining offer, with six restaurants and bars that bring together Thai and international concepts, including a Michelin-starred Italian restaurant and a rooftop bar positioned next to the hotel’s signature golden spire. Beyond accommodation and dining, the hotel includes Devarana Wellness, offering spa, fitness, and pool facilities, while its event spaces strengthen its role as a high-profile venue for meetings, celebrations, and city-based social occasions. The announcement also highlights the strategic value of the addition for Preferred Hotels & Resorts, with Christine Tan and Marc Handl associated with the partnership and the hotel’s positioning within the international luxury hotel market.
