India:
Fairmont Mumbai, opening in April 2025, will blend 1920s elegance with modern sophistication. Located near the international airport, the hotel will feature 446 luxurious rooms and suites, five globally inspired restaurants, a wellness longevity suite, and an outdoor pool. With Mumbai’s most glamorous event spaces, including a Grand Ballroom accommodating over 2,000 guests, Fairmont Mumbai is set to become a premier destination for both business and leisure travelers.

In Rajasthan, Fairmont Udaipur Palace will open in July 2025, offering a majestic hilltop retreat in the Aravalli Hills. Spanning 18 acres, the property will reflect Rajasthan’s rich heritage through intricately carved marble columns, regal verandas, and bespoke inlaid flooring. The palace will house 327 rooms, multiple dining venues serving Mediterranean, Italian, and Asian cuisine, and over 130,000 square feet of event space, making it an ideal venue for weddings and grand celebrations.

Japan:
Fairmont Tokyo, the brand’s first property in Japan, will debut on July 1, 2025. Located in the prestigious Blue Front Shibaura Project’s south tower, the hotel will offer 217 elegantly designed rooms with panoramic views of Tokyo Bay and the city skyline. Just minutes from Haneda Airport and key rail hubs, the hotel will provide luxurious amenities, including a spa, an infinity pool, five restaurants, two bars, and a grand ballroom accommodating up to 1,200 guests.

Vietnam:
Fairmont Hanoi, opening in November 2025, will introduce the brand to Vietnam with a design inspired by Indochinese motifs and French colonial influences. Located near Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter, the hotel will feature 241 rooms, six dining and bar venues—including a rooftop restaurant—plus a spa, a fitness center, and two swimming pools. The property’s interiors, designed by Perkins Eastman and Aston Design, will highlight Vietnam’s vibrant colors and traditional lacquer craftsmanship.

Thailand:
Fairmont Bangkok Sukhumvit, also opening in November 2025, will merge heritage charm with contemporary elegance. The 419-room property will include specialty restaurants, a rooftop bar, a spa, and extensive meeting facilities. Inspired by “The Fantastic Journey of Travel to the Bygone Era,” the hotel’s curated interiors will feature artistic decor and handcrafted furniture. Strategically positioned in Bangkok’s Central Business District, the LEED and WELL Green-certified hotel will be within walking distance of major transportation hubs, catering to both business and leisure travelers.

Fairmont’s ambitious expansion in Asia reflects its commitment to offering unparalleled luxury experiences in key global destinations. With a focus on cultural authenticity, sustainability, and world-class hospitality, these five properties will set new standards for elegance and refinement.
