Meanwhile, Hamilton Princess & Beach Club in Bermuda marked its 140th anniversary with the debut of the renovated Bermudiana Wing in May 2025, featuring versatile suites and an emphasis on eco-conscious hospitality as the island’s only Green Key certified property.
In the Canadian Rockies, Fairmont Banff Springs introduced redesigned family suites catering to multigenerational travelers, combining comfort with outdoor adventure. London’s legendary Savoy, managed by Fairmont, also revealed a new design for its rooms and suites in June, developed by G.A. Group, blending Edwardian and Art Deco influences with modern luxury.
Looking ahead, Fairmont Grand Hotel Geneva is undergoing a large-scale transformation set for completion in 2026, including a redesigned façade, over 400 renovated rooms, and expanded luxury suites. Also in Bermuda, Fairmont Southampton has begun a record-breaking $550 million redevelopment to reimagine its 593-room resort, with a new beach club, refreshed guest accommodations, and enhanced dining and event spaces by Summer 2026.
In the United States, Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego has revitalized its Fairmont Spa & Wellness Center, blending opulence with nature-inspired design. Enhancements include new treatment rooms, a sound therapy space, and advanced wellness technology.
According to Omer Acar, CEO of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, these projects represent not just aesthetic upgrades but a broader redefinition of the guest experience across the brand’s global portfolio, ensuring consistency in luxury while preserving the unique identity of each property.
