Louvre Hotels Group has appointed Florian Aubin as Chief Financial Officer, effective May 4, 2026, placing an experienced finance and transformation executive at the centre of the group’s next stage of development. As a member of the Executive Committee, Aubin will report directly to Eduardo Bosch, Chief Executive Officer. The appointment comes as Louvre Hotels Group continues its transformation and pursues sustainable growth across an international hospitality portfolio.

Aubin’s appointment gives Louvre Hotels Group a finance leader with extensive international experience in complex and rapidly changing environments. His background covers finance, governance, transformation and performance management, all areas that are highly relevant for a hospitality group operating across brands, countries and market segments.

The company states that Aubin’s primary responsibility will be to support the execution of its five-year strategic plan. This plan was launched in December 2023 and forms the framework for the group’s current transformation. In his new position, Aubin will help ensure that financial leadership, operational priorities and transformation projects are aligned with that wider strategic direction.

The CFO role will also cover all finance activities across the group. This gives Aubin responsibility for the systems, processes and financial oversight needed to support a global hotel platform. He will work closely with both headquarters and regional office teams, which is important for a company with a wide international footprint.

Financial transformation is a key part of his mandate. In hospitality groups, transformation can involve reporting systems, financial governance, performance management, budgeting, controls, refinancing, process improvement and closer alignment between corporate and regional teams. Aubin’s career shows repeated exposure to these types of projects.

His education provides a strong foundation for the role. Aubin is a graduate of HEC Paris, where he completed a Master’s in Management in 2001, including the MBA programme at Alliance Manchester Business School. He also holds the DSCG and CIA certifications, giving him formal credentials in finance, accounting, control and internal audit.

Aubin began his career at PwC in 2004, where he spent ten years and rose to the position of Senior Manager. His work at PwC covered France and the United States and focused on audit and consulting engagements, particularly for special transactions such as IPOs and financial transformations. This early experience gave him exposure to major corporate processes, technical finance issues and high-pressure transaction environments.

From 2014 to 2016, he joined LafargeHolcim as Group Internal Control Director during the merger. This role placed him in a complex integration environment, where strong internal control and governance would have been essential. For a future CFO, experience during a major merger can be especially valuable because it requires discipline, structure and the ability to manage change across large organisations.

In 2016, Aubin moved to Ingenico Group, serving as Group Accounting Director and Chief Accounting Officer until 2020. During this period, he also led finance transformation. This added another layer to his profile, combining technical accounting leadership with change management and process improvement at group level.

Between 2020 and 2024, he served at Atalian Group as CFO for France, Benelux and Africa and Head of Group Transformation. In that role, he led a major transformation programme and played an active role in the group’s financial optimisation. This experience is especially relevant to Louvre Hotels Group’s current focus on transformation and sustainable growth.

Since 2024, Aubin has served as Deputy CEO and CFO of Stokomani. His responsibilities there extended beyond finance to include supply chain, human resources and information systems. He also led transformation and refinancing initiatives. This broader operational scope gives him experience beyond traditional finance, connecting financial leadership with organisational performance and business transformation.

This combination of roles makes Aubin’s profile particularly aligned with the needs of a global hospitality group. Louvre Hotels Group is not only appointing a CFO to manage finance. It is appointing a leader expected to support transformation, performance improvement and strategic execution across a multi-brand international platform.

The group’s scale adds further context to the appointment. Louvre Hotels Group describes itself as a major player in the global hospitality industry, with a portfolio of more than 1,750 hotels in 70 countries. Its hotel offering spans from 1-star to 5-star properties, giving the company a broad operating range across economy, midscale, upscale and higher-end segments.

The brand portfolio includes Première Classe, Hosho, Kyriad, Campanile, TULIP Hotels & Residences, Golden Tulip and Royal Tulip. It also includes the five brands of the Sarovar network in India, the French group Hôtels & Préférence, and the brands Unique Boutique Hotels and TemptingPlaces Collection. This breadth creates both opportunity and complexity for financial leadership.

A CFO working within such a portfolio must support different business models, market conditions, owner relationships and brand positions. Finance leadership in this context requires more than reporting accuracy. It also requires the ability to guide performance, support investment decisions, help manage regional priorities and ensure that transformation projects are implemented consistently.

The group is also part of a larger global hospitality structure. Louvre Hotels Group is a subsidiary of Jin Jiang International Holdings Co., Ltd., described in the release as the second hospitality group in the world. This parent-company context adds another layer of international scale and governance to the CFO role.

Aubin’s international background and experience in complex corporate environments therefore appear well matched to the group’s needs. His career has moved through audit, consulting, internal control, accounting leadership, CFO responsibilities, transformation and refinancing. These areas are all relevant for a hospitality group pursuing a five-year strategic plan while operating across 70 countries.

The appointment also reflects the increasing importance of transformation-focused finance leadership in hospitality. Hotel groups are facing changing demand patterns, rising cost pressure, technology needs, owner expectations and sustainability-related requirements. CFOs are therefore expected to be strategic partners, not only financial controllers.

For Louvre Hotels Group, the CFO role will be closely linked to sustainable growth. The announcement connects Aubin’s responsibilities directly to the company’s transformation and long-term growth ambitions. This suggests that financial discipline, operational alignment and performance management will be essential to the next phase of the group’s development.

With Florian Aubin as Chief Financial Officer, Louvre Hotels Group is strengthening its executive team with a leader experienced in finance, governance, transformation and performance management. His background at PwC, LafargeHolcim, Ingenico Group, Atalian Group and Stokomani gives him a broad set of skills for supporting the group’s five-year strategic plan. As Louvre Hotels Group continues to transform and pursue sustainable growth across more than 1,750 hotels in 70 countries, Aubin’s appointment places financial leadership at the heart of its next stage.
