Guerlain Wellness Spa returns to Waldorf Astoria New York with grand reopening set for Summer
Waldorf Astoria New York has announced the much-anticipated return of the Guerlain Wellness Spa, marking a major milestone in the reimagined landmark’s wellness offering. The 30,000-square-foot spa will open in late summer, bringing Guerlain’s luxurious skincare, beauty, and wellness experiences to the heart of Manhattan. Designed by Wimberly Interiors, the expansive space reflects the brand’s Parisian elegance fused with Art Deco charm.
Waldorf Astoria New York is set to reintroduce the Guerlain Wellness Spa as a cornerstone of its newly transformed property. Scheduled to open in late summer 2025, the Guerlain Wellness Spa will span 30,000 square feet across the hotel’s fourth floor and will represent the largest of all Guerlain spa locations worldwide. This unveiling will follow the hotel's broader reopening later this spring, signaling a new chapter for the iconic Park Avenue landmark.
Designed by Wimberly Interiors, the Guerlain Wellness Spa promises a seamless blend of historic Art Deco motifs and contemporary sophistication. Guests can expect an elegant space that channels both Guerlain’s heritage and Waldorf Astoria’s timeless identity. In addition to 16 treatment rooms—including two VIP double suites—the spa will also house an expansive fitness center, and on the ground floor, two Guerlain retail boutiques featuring the brand’s signature skincare, fragrance, and makeup products.
The spa will be operated by Trilogy Spa Holdings and aims to create a sanctuary for guests through wellness journeys rooted in science, art, and Guerlain’s holistic philosophy. Core pillars of the spa’s programming include sleep optimization, mindfulness, movement, and micronutrition. Treatments and services will range from classic massages and facials to targeted therapies using innovative equipment such as the Amphibia Welnamis table and the 601 Glamour aesthetic platform.
Exclusive treatments developed for the Waldorf Astoria include "Spirit of Achievement," a massage designed to reconnect guests with inner strength; "Rhythm of Wellness," which fuses piano compositions with soothing treatments; and "Like Clockwork," a multisensory experience aligned with relaxation and mental clarity. Additional personalized programs will be available, including “1 Hour Power” treatments and three- to six-month wellness packages focused on skin health, energy, or sleep quality.
Beyond hotel guests, the Guerlain Wellness Spa will extend its offerings to residents of Waldorf Astoria Residences New York. With interiors by Jean-Louis Deniot, the residences sit atop the hotel and feature exclusive wellness amenities, including a 25-meter pool, dedicated fitness space, and private treatment rooms. Residents will benefit from ‘At-Home Spa’ services, personalized nutrition programs, and curated skincare rituals through a dedicated Wellness Concierge.
