The Dream Hotel Group properties are known for their progressive design and lively restaurants and nightclubs, which are the heart and soul of each hotel. They offer unique and authentic hospitality experiences based on imaginative activations and spaces that inspire creativity and serve as social hubs for guests and local communities.

The acquisition welcomes over 600 new employees to the Hyatt family, bringing deep hospitality expertise to Hyatt's global lifestyle portfolio and expanding the Hyatt brand's footprint in strategic locations such as Nashville, Hollywood, Las Vegas, South Beach, Saint Lucia, Doha, and several new locations in New York. It will also encompass new markets such as the Catskills in New York and Valle de Guadalupe in Mexico.

"The acquisition of Dream Hotel Group by Hyatt marks an exciting chapter in our asset-light growth journey as we expand our lifestyle offerings to provide travelers from around the world with more unique experiences—now and in the future," said Mark Hoplamazian, President and CEO of Hyatt. "Together, we will carefully preserve the spirit and individual identity of the sought-after Dream Hotel Group properties, while also adding the commercial strength of Hyatt's marketing and sales channels, united under the World of Hyatt loyalty program."

Founder of Dream Hotel Group, Sant Singh Chatwal, will continue his involvement as the owner of four open and two future hotels that will join the Hyatt portfolio.

"Hyatt has a proven track record in preserving what makes lifestyle hotels unique, and it is the perfect new home for our evolving Dream Hotel Group brands," said Sant Singh Chatwal, President and Founder of Dream Hotel Group. "As an owner of Dream Hotel Group properties, I am excited for the next chapter of our journey, and I am confident that a bright future awaits our hotels, owners, guests, and team members as part of the Hyatt family."

Former CEO of Dream Hotel Group, Jay Stein, joins Hyatt as the head of Dream Hotels to lead the integration of Dream Hotel Group brands into the Hyatt portfolio; former Head of Development at Dream Hotel Group, David Kuperberg, joins Hyatt as the head of development for Dream Hotels; and former Chief Operating Officer Michael Lindenbaum joins Hyatt as the head of operations for Dream Hotels.

Dream Hotels will join as a brand within the Boundless Collection by Hyatt. The Chatwal and Unscripted Hotels brands will be welcomed into the Independent Collection, joining The Unbound Collection by Hyatt and JdV by Hyatt, respectively.
