Hyatt Regency London Olympia sits at the centre of one of the capital’s most ambitious urban transformations. The wider Olympia development brings together offices, restaurants, a live music venue and a theatre, creating a destination designed for both business and leisure travellers. This setting gives the hotel a role beyond accommodation, placing it inside a mixed-use hub shaped around meetings, culture, entertainment and urban hospitality.

The hotel benefits from a highly connected location directly opposite Kensington Olympia station. Guests can access central London and Heathrow Airport, while nearby landmarks include Holland Park, Kensington Palace, the Design Museum and the Natural History Museum. This combination of transport access and cultural proximity strengthens the property’s appeal for international visitors, corporate travellers and guests attending events at Olympia.

The property is set within Emberton House, a building originally opened in 1937 as one of Europe’s largest multi-storey car parks. Its transformation represents a significant architectural reimagining of a London landmark, co-designed by Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC. Inside, London-based design studio twenty2degrees has reshaped the building’s early 20th-century industrial character with refined Art Deco influences and details inspired by Olympia’s history.

The design narrative connects past and present throughout the hotel. Bespoke artwork references Eadweard Muybridge’s chronophotography and pays tribute to the venue’s inaugural Hippodrome Circus. In the guestrooms, framed visual codes refer to the world’s first computer exhibition held at Olympia, as well as musicians and artists who have performed at the venue, including Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and The Chemical Brothers. Metalwork, figured marble and a grey and deep green palette add warmth and a distinctive sense of place.

The hotel introduces three dining experiences designed for the rhythm of the neighbourhood. 1937 Lounge & Bar serves as a social hub throughout the day, offering coffee, light bites and cocktails. The Market provides a grab-and-go option for guests with busy schedules. Adjacent to the hotel, inside the Grade II listed Pillar Hall, Idalia offers an all-day dining concept led by chefs Samantha Williams and Lorena Tommasi, with menus shaped by modern British cuisine, European influences and Asian touches.

Accommodation at Hyatt Regency London Olympia includes 204 spacious guestrooms and suites across 14 categories. Rooms are planned around comfort, flexibility and intuitive use, with defined areas for working, relaxing and preparing for the day. Smart technology, keyless entry, energy-efficient systems and thoughtful amenities support a seamless stay for modern travellers. The overall approach reflects the Hyatt Regency brand’s emphasis on convenience, connection and stress-free travel.

Public areas are designed as calm gathering spaces away from the energy of nearby exhibition halls and event venues. These communal areas allow guests to meet, work, relax and transition between the different parts of the Olympia destination. This social quality is central to the hotel’s identity, giving the property relevance for both overnight guests and visitors using the wider development.

The hotel also supports smaller meetings and private gatherings with more than 900 square feet of flexible event space across three rooms. For larger events, guests benefit from direct access to Olympia’s wider event ecosystem, including an international convention centre capable of hosting up to 20,000 attendees. This gives Hyatt Regency London Olympia an important role in supporting the business, conference and events market in West London.

Wellbeing is integrated through an on-site fitness centre, as well as direct access to a premium fitness studio within the Olympia complex. Guests can also use nearby floodlit tennis courts, while Holland Park and the surrounding Kensington neighbourhood offer green spaces for relaxation and recreation. These features add a lifestyle dimension to the hotel and support guests looking to maintain routines while travelling.

As part of World of Hyatt, the property gives members the opportunity to earn or redeem points during their stay. The hotel joins a global Hyatt Regency portfolio of more than 195 urban and resort locations in over 30 countries. With its landmark architecture, historic setting, new dining offer and position within the regenerated Olympia district, Hyatt Regency London Olympia adds a notable new hospitality address to London’s evolving hotel landscape.
