ibis Expands European Presence with New Openings Across the Continent
ibis, part of Accor’s global economy brand portfolio, continues to strengthen its foothold across Europe with a series of new hotel openings and upcoming additions under its three distinctive banners: ibis, ibis Styles, and ibis budget. With more than 2,500 hotels worldwide, ibis is expanding in strategic locations throughout Estonia, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Hungary, Poland, and the United Kingdom—highlighting its ongoing commitment to affordable, high-quality hospitality.
Among the standout developments is the launch of the first ibis Styles in Estonia, the ibis Styles Tallinn, situated near the city’s historic Old Town. With 122 rooms, the hotel embraces a photography-inspired design, blending monochrome aesthetics with vivid Estonian culinary offerings at the on-site FOCUS restaurant.
Further bolstering its European network, ibis is introducing family and airport-friendly accommodations across key destinations:

In Spain, ibis Styles Madrid Airport Valdebas will become Iberia’s largest ibis family hotel with 260 rooms, a rooftop lounge bar, and proximity to major football stadiums.
-
Also in Madrid, ibis budget Albasanz will open with 99 rooms featuring the new REBOOST design, ideal for cost-conscious travellers.
-
In Germany, twin properties ibis and ibis budget Berlin Airport will serve travellers at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, sharing a modern lobby and offering early breakfast options.

In France, ibis budget La Rochelle Puilboreau provides affordable access to La Rochelle and the beaches of Île de Ré.
The UK sees the arrival of ibis Styles York Centre, which pays tribute to local brewing traditions through themed interiors and a full-service restaurant. Meanwhile, Belgium adds two properties—ibis budget Arlon Porte du Luxembourg, catering to nature lovers in the Ardennes, and ibis Styles Hasselt, with storytelling rooted in polar exploration history.
In Hungary, ibis Styles Debrecen Airport will open with 88 keys and an aviation theme—including a real airplane wing as part of the design. Poland will soon welcome ibis Styles Katowice Airport, offering 75 rooms and wellness amenities just steps from the city’s international gateway.
These additions reaffirm the enduring appeal of ibis to modern, value-conscious travellers, while delivering fresh design, reliable comfort, and local storytelling.
