IHG pairs wellness and suites near Universal Orlando
IHG Hotels & Resorts has introduced a new dual-branded property near Universal Orlando Resort, bringing together EVEN Hotel Orlando Universal Blvd by IHG and Staybridge Suites Orlando Universal Blvd by IHG. The hotel combines premium design, spacious suites and social areas created for modern travellers who want to live, work and recharge with greater flexibility. Developed in partnership with Daiwa House Group, the property places guests close to Universal Orlando Resort, the anticipated Epic Universe theme park and the Orange County Convention Center. With 288 rooms across two complementary brands, it is positioned for both leisure and business demand in one of the United States’ strongest travel markets.
The new property brings two different stay experiences under one roof. EVEN Hotel Orlando Universal Blvd by IHG focuses on restoration, movement and balanced travel, while Staybridge Suites Orlando Universal Blvd by IHG is built around residential-style comfort and longer-stay flexibility. Together, the brands are designed to give guests a choice of accommodation styles without separating them from shared amenities and social spaces.
The hotel includes a combined 288 guest rooms, with 120 rooms under the EVEN Hotel brand and 168 rooms under Staybridge Suites. Shared amenities include an expansive 1,500-square-foot Athletic Studio, a 24-hour marketplace, a game room, a resort-style outdoor pool, guest laundry facilities and storage units for long-stay travellers. Guests also have access to an inviting courtyard with BBQ grills and pet walking areas, adding to the property’s appeal for families, extended-stay guests and visitors looking for a more relaxed base in Orlando.
At EVEN Hotel Orlando Universal Blvd by IHG, the guest experience is centred on wellness and comfort. Rooms feature premium bedding, cooling linens and spa-like showers, creating a stay environment focused on rest and recovery. The brand’s food and beverage offer runs throughout the day, from morning lattes and on-the-go breakfast to evening cocktails and dinner at EVEN Kitchen & Bar. Additional touches, including an evening tea service and calming natural spaces, support the hotel’s restorative positioning.
The Staybridge Suites Orlando Universal Blvd by IHG side of the property is designed for guests who want more space and the comforts of home. Its studio and one-bedroom suites include fully equipped kitchens, separate living areas and king or two-queen configurations. Guests begin the day with a complimentary breakfast buffet, while selected evenings include the Staybridge Suites Social, a relaxed gathering with light bites, beer and wine. Outdoor fire pits and grilling areas also help create a more residential atmosphere within the dual-branded hotel.
The property is expected to serve a wide range of travellers visiting Orlando. Families can use it as a base for the city’s world-famous theme parks, while professionals benefit from its proximity to the Orange County Convention Center. Its location near Universal Orlando Resort and Epic Universe strengthens its appeal in a destination where entertainment, meetings and leisure travel are closely connected.
For IHG Hotels & Resorts, the project continues the company’s expansion in a high-demand travel hub while showing how dual-brand development can combine different guest needs within one property. The partnership with Daiwa House Group also highlights the role of mixed accommodation models in serving modern travel patterns. By pairing wellness-led rooms with extended-stay suites, the new hotel offers a flexible hospitality product designed for guests moving between work, family travel, relaxation and entertainment.
IHG Hotels & Resorts operates a global portfolio of 21 hotel brands and IHG One Rewards, one of the world’s largest hotel loyalty programmes with more than 160 million members. The company has more than one million rooms across 7,000 hotels in over 100 countries, with a development pipeline of a further 2,300 properties. Within that broader platform, the new EVEN Hotel and Staybridge Suites property near Universal Orlando Resort adds another address to IHG’s growing presence in destinations shaped by both business and leisure demand.
