INNSiDE by Meliá arrives in Malta
Meliá Hotels International has opened INNSiDE by Meliá Bugibba, marking the debut of its lifestyle-led INNSiDE by Meliá brand in Malta. The 86-room hotel opened on 12 July 2026 in the heart of Bugibba Square, just steps from the seafront. Designed for travellers looking for contemporary accommodation, social spaces, dining and wellbeing facilities, the hotel brings a modern lifestyle concept to one of the Mediterranean’s most vibrant island destinations. Its arrival strengthens Meliá’s presence in Europe while giving Bugibba a new internationally branded hotel address.
INNSiDE by Meliá Bugibba is located in St. Paul’s Bay, within easy reach of Valletta and Malta International Airport. This positioning gives guests a practical base for exploring the island’s historic sites, coastline and outdoor activities. The hotel’s central location also connects it directly with the lively atmosphere of Bugibba Square, creating a strong relationship between the property and its surrounding neighbourhood.
The hotel features 86 rooms and suites across eight room categories. Accommodation options include sea-view rooms with balconies and spacious townhouse-style units designed for both short breaks and longer stays.
