Kerzner International Takes Over Management of The Meydan Hotel in Dubai
Kerzner International Holdings Limited has assumed management of The Meydan Hotel, Dubai’s trackside icon owned by Dubai Holding. Following a series of room and public area enhancements, the property is now open for reservations and will officially welcome guests in early 2026. The move reinforces Kerzner’s commitment to revitalizing landmark destinations while aligning with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
The Meydan Hotel is the world’s only hotel integrated into the grandstand of an international horse racetrack, offering guests a front-row view of some of the richest horse races globally. Its sweeping architecture, spacious rooms, and large balconies position it among the most exclusive properties in Dubai. Located just 15–20 minutes from the city’s main business hubs and landmarks, it caters equally to leisure and business travelers.
The enhancements include refreshed interiors and a renewed focus on culinary and social experiences. Guests will enjoy dining at Farriers, an upscale Mediterranean restaurant, or relax at the Saddle Bar and the Tea Lounge at the Millennium Lobby. Beyond racing, the hotel’s location in the Meydan green district provides access to a 9-hole golf course, padel and tennis courts, and a vibrant nightlife scene. Its extensive indoor and outdoor event facilities—capable of hosting up to 50,000 guests—position it as a premier venue for concerts, corporate events, and gala celebrations.
For Dubai Holding, this transition underscores its focus on performance and guest satisfaction, while Kerzner adds the property to its Rare Finds portfolio, alongside landmarks such as Atlantis The Palm, Atlantis The Royal, One&Only resorts, and Bab Al Shams. With this addition, Kerzner continues to shape Dubai’s hospitality landscape with innovation, luxury, and a respect for heritage.
