MGallery Collection plans adults-only Rhodes retreat
MGallery Collection and Colossos SA have announced the signing of MGallery Rhodes, the first MGallery Collection hotel on Rhodes. The adults-only resort is currently under construction and is scheduled to welcome its first guests in Spring 2027. Located in the idyllic area of Kallithea, the hotel will combine contemporary design, gastronomy, wellbeing and local storytelling with panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. With 222 guestrooms, suites and bungalows, the project adds a refined new retreat to one of Greece’s most celebrated island destinations.
MGallery Rhodes is designed as a sanctuary inspired by the spirit and heritage of Rhodes, often known as the Island of Knights. The concept draws from the island’s architectural legacy and the enduring atmosphere of its Medieval City, creating a hospitality experience where contemporary elegance meets cultural memory. This makes the hotel a natural fit for MGallery Collection, a brand built around boutique properties with distinctive stories and strong destination character.
Architecture will play a central role in the resort’s identity. The design embraces organic forms, curved lines and natural materials that integrate with the surrounding landscape. At the centre of the property will stand a striking ten-storey building with a distinctive spiral silhouette, designed to provide uninterrupted sea views from every room. Around it, private pool bungalows and suites will create more intimate spaces focused on tranquillity, privacy and connection to nature.
The accommodation offer will include 222 guestrooms, suites and bungalows, each with sweeping views across the Aegean Sea. As an adults-only resort, MGallery Rhodes will place particular emphasis on privacy, atmosphere and personalised hospitality. Guests looking for a more elevated stay will be able to choose accommodations with private pools, while 50 secluded pools across the resort will create exclusive relaxation moments within a lush green setting.
Landscape design will further strengthen the property’s Mediterranean identity. Ancient olive trees, hibiscus, lavender, rosemary, myrtle, oleanders and native plants of Rhodes will shape a living natural environment around the resort. This use of local planting will help the property feel rooted in the island’s landscape rather than separated from it.
Dining will be a major part of the guest experience. MGallery Rhodes will feature one fine dining venue and four specialty restaurants celebrating Mediterranean flavours and international culinary excellence. Each venue is expected to offer captivating views of the sea, reinforcing the resort’s connection to its coastal setting. Several bars will also be available throughout the property, including a signature cocktail bar designed as a social hub for creative mixology and refined evening gatherings.
Wellbeing will be another defining pillar of the resort. Inspired by the restorative qualities of the sea and the Mediterranean lifestyle, MGallery Rhodes will offer an extensive wellness programme designed to nurture both body and mind. The wellness facilities will include a 1,100-square-metre spa with an indoor pool and hydromassage pool, supported by advanced beauty and wellness treatments developed in partnership with Swiss skincare brands Valmont and Swiss Perfection.
Active leisure will also form part of the resort experience. Additional facilities will include an outdoor fitness centre, dedicated exercise routes, tennis courts and padel courts. These amenities will allow guests to balance relaxation with movement, creating a broader wellbeing offer that reflects modern luxury travel expectations.
The project also reflects Colossos SA’s commitment to responsible growth and sustainable tourism development on Rhodes. The company’s ongoing investments in renewable energy and environmentally conscious practices align with Accor’s wider sustainability commitments. Together, the partners are positioning MGallery Rhodes as a luxury project that considers both guest experience and long-term stewardship of the island’s natural environment.
The signing is an important milestone for Rhodes as it continues to evolve as a world-class destination in the Southeastern Aegean. A new adults-only boutique resort under an international brand strengthens the island’s luxury hospitality offer and adds another layer to its appeal for travellers seeking culture, sea views, privacy and design-led experiences.
The project also expands MGallery Collection’s growing presence in Greece. The brand now has six hotels in the country, including Athens Capital Hotel - MGallery Collection, Athens Capital Suites - MGallery Collection, NIKO Seaside Resort Crete - MGallery Collection, Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos - MGallery Collection and the forthcoming Nírema Hotel & Spa Samos - MGallery Collection. With MGallery Rhodes, the brand continues to build momentum across Greece’s most compelling island and cultural destinations.
Globally, MGallery Collection includes more than 125 boutique hotels and has a pipeline of 56 additional properties. The addition of MGallery Rhodes reinforces the brand’s ambition to create meaningful hospitality experiences built around local heritage, design and storytelling. With its Kallithea location, adults-only positioning, Aegean views, wellness offer and Mediterranean landscape, the resort is set to become a distinctive new chapter in Rhodes’ luxury hotel market.
