Nobu Hospitality to bring 619 Brickell Residences and new Nobu Restaurant to Miami
Nobu Hospitality has unveiled plans for 619 Brickell, a 74 story residential tower in Miami’s Brickell district, developed in partnership with 13th Floor Investments and Key International. The project will feature 300 residential units and approximately 90,000 square feet of private amenities, including a spa, fitness center and poolside café. At street level, the development will introduce Miami’s second Nobu restaurant, designed in a circular form with water views. The announcement marks Nobu Hospitality’s first residential project in Miami, further extending the brand’s presence beyond hotels and standalone restaurants.
Rising in the heart of the Brickell district, 619 Brickell is planned as a mixed use concept that unites branded residences with high end hospitality services. The tower will comprise 300 private units supported by 90,000 square feet of resident only amenities, positioning the property at the upper end of the local residential market. The amenity program is set to include a spa, a fitness center and a poolside café, providing on site wellness, leisure and social spaces exclusively for owners and residents. The integration of these facilities within a single vertical development reflects ongoing demand for full service urban living in Miami.
The project also introduces a new Nobu restaurant on the building’s ground level, adding a second outpost for the brand in the Miami area alongside the existing restaurant in Miami Beach. Conceived with a circular layout and oriented toward the water, the restaurant is designed to create a strong visual connection between the interior dining areas and the surrounding cityscape. As with other Nobu venues, the space will emphasize a minimalist aesthetic, aligning with the broader design language of the tower while functioning as a culinary anchor for both residents and local diners.
Architectural design for 619 Brickell is being led by Foster + Partners, working in collaboration with Sieger Suarez Architects. The scheme aims to merge Nobu’s minimalist Japanese aesthetic with Miami’s urban landscape, using natural materials and expansive terraces to soften the tower’s profile and maximize outdoor living space. This approach is intended to provide residents with generous balconies and terraces that extend the usable footprint of each unit while framing views of the city and water.
For Nobu Hospitality, the Brickell project represents its first branded residential development in Miami, expanding a portfolio that has traditionally centered on hotels and restaurants. By combining residences, a full suite of private amenities and a signature restaurant in a single tower, the company is pursuing a model that blends long term living with hospitality style services. While the development partners have not yet specified a completion timeline, the announcement signals a significant new entry into Miami’s high rise residential market under the Nobu brand.
