Four Seasons Hotel Madrid has appointed Patrick Pollak as Regional Vice-President and General Manager, marking a key leadership change at one of the company’s flagship properties in Europe. The appointment comes as the hotel builds on the work carried out over the past five years and looks to maintain its operating standards under new direction. A nearly three-decade veteran of Four Seasons, Pollak brings long international experience across hotel and resort leadership roles. His arrival in Madrid also reflects the group’s preference for seasoned internal talent in top management positions.

The appointment of Patrick Pollak places an experienced hospitality executive at the head of Four Seasons Hotel Madrid at a significant moment in the property’s development. In his new role as Regional Vice-President and General Manager, he will oversee hotel operations and focus on sustaining the standards associated with the Four Seasons brand, while building on the efforts of the existing team. The move is notable not only because of the seniority of the position, but also because it connects the future of the Madrid property with one of the company’s long-serving leaders.

Pollak is approaching 30 years with Four Seasons, having started his career with the company in 1996 as Bar Manager at Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City. Born in Mexico City to French parents, he studied Hotel Management and Hospitality at Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France, giving him an international foundation from the beginning of his career. Over the years, he has held a series of leadership roles in food and beverage and hotel operations, including Head of Food & Beverage, Hotel Manager and Resort Manager. His experience spans destinations such as Punta Mita, Dallas and Hualalai, showing a career path shaped by varied market environments and operational demands.

His progression within the company continued in 2017, when he became General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou. He later went on to manage Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, adding further large-scale urban luxury experience to his background. This combination of resort and city hotel leadership gives Pollak a broad operational profile, which is especially relevant for a property such as Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, where brand standards, service delivery and strategic oversight all carry equal weight. He is also fluent in English, French and Spanish, a skill set that supports his leadership in an international luxury environment.

For Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, the appointment signals continuity combined with deep internal brand knowledge. Rather than bringing in an external executive, the company has chosen a leader whose career has been built inside the Four Seasons system and across multiple geographies. That gives the transition added strategic value, particularly in a market such as Madrid, where luxury hospitality continues to depend on strong operational execution and leadership consistency. With Patrick Pollak now in place, the hotel is entering its next phase under a manager whose career reflects both long-term loyalty to the brand and extensive experience in leading high-profile international properties.
