Philippe Leboeuf appointed CEO of Dorchester Collection, effective June 2025
Dorchester Collection has announced the appointment of Philippe Leboeuf as its new Chief Executive Officer, beginning June 2025. A highly respected figure in the global luxury hospitality industry, Leboeuf brings a wealth of leadership experience and operational expertise to one of the world’s most distinguished hotel portfolios. His appointment signals a strategic focus on innovation while preserving the brand’s deep-rooted heritage.
With an impressive international career spanning leadership roles at some of the world’s foremost luxury hotel brands, Philippe Leboeuf is set to lead Dorchester Collection into its next chapter. Known for his operational excellence and deep understanding of luxury guest experience, Leboeuf has served in senior roles at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, and most recently as Managing Director of Raffles London, where he led the hotel’s successful opening.
His previous experience also includes his tenure as Director General of Concorde Hotels under the Taittinger Group, where he oversaw a network of 19 owned and 70 affiliated hotels, and as a Board Director of Leading Hotels of the World. His leadership across these high-profile positions has earned him a reputation for strategic foresight and a commitment to nurturing strong organisational cultures.
Dorchester Collection’s President, Christopher Cowdray, emphasized the importance of maintaining the company’s distinctive values and culture in selecting Leboeuf for the role. Cowdray praised his global reputation, highlighting the respect he commands across the industry among owners, partners, media, and particularly employees and guests.
Leboeuf, a graduate of Cornell University and HEC Paris, is fluent in English, French, Italian, and Spanish. He has been recognised with the Knight of the Legion of Honour by the French government for his contributions to hospitality and culture. In his new role, he aims to build on Dorchester Collection’s storied legacy, reinforcing its position at the pinnacle of global luxury hospitality.
