Radisson Hotel Group Expands Adriatic Presence with Flagship Signing in Montenegro
Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of the Radisson Blu Hotel & Residences, Tivat, a flagship new-build property set to debut on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast ahead of the 2027 summer season. Developed in partnership with ALK Group, the project underscores the Group’s strategy to strengthen its portfolio in the Balkans, where it now has 30 hotels and more than 5,600 rooms either in operation or under development.
Located in the Seljanovo neighborhood of Tivat, within walking distance of the luxury marina Porto Montenegro, the property marks the brand’s first coastal presence in the country. Designed as a condo-style development, it will feature 61 hotel rooms and 44 serviced apartments, catering to both leisure travelers and long-stay investors.
The hotel will be spread across three buildings, including spaces dedicated to guest services, serviced apartments, and a café. Dining will play a central role, with an all-day restaurant, a terrace restaurant, and a rooftop bar offering panoramic views, alongside a lobby bar and an additional café. The wellness program will include a 314-square-meter spa, a gym, and two indoor pools, while events and meetings will be supported by elegant, well-integrated facilities.
Montenegro’s Adriatic coast continues to rise as a premier European resort destination, with developments like Porto Montenegro, Porto Novi, and Lustica Bay elevating its luxury profile. Benefiting from strong connectivity via Tivat, Podgorica, Dubrovnik, and Tirana airports, and surrounded by cultural and natural landmarks including Kotor Bay, Sveti Stefan, and Mogren Beach, the Radisson Blu Hotel & Residences, Tivat is poised to become a flagship destination for the region.
