Raffles Hotels & Resorts to Debut in Mexico with Raffles Estera East Cape
Raffles Hotels & Resorts, part of Accor’s luxury portfolio, has announced its highly anticipated expansion into Mexico with the unveiling of Raffles Estera East Cape Resort & Residences. Scheduled to open in 2029, this project, developed in partnership with ONE Development Group, marks Raffles' first resort in North America and strengthens the brand’s prestigious global footprint.
Located on an untouched beachfront in the serene East Cape region of Los Cabos, Raffles Estera East Cape will offer a sophisticated retreat nestled between the Sea of Cortez and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains. This exclusive area, renowned for its stunning natural beauty and vibrant marine biodiversity, provides the perfect setting for Raffles' signature blend of enchantment, glamour, and bespoke hospitality.
The resort’s first phase will feature 80 elegantly appointed rooms and 46 branded residences, designed by world-renowned architecture firm Olson Kundig with interiors by Studio Paolo Ferrari and residential spaces by Huber Design. The design will emphasize harmony with the natural surroundings while celebrating the rich heritage of Baja California Sur.
Raffles Estera East Cape will offer an extraordinary leisure experience with a full-service spa, multiple outdoor pools, a watersports center, kids and teen clubs, and curated retail spaces. Culinary excellence will be at the forefront with seven distinct dining venues, including a signature restaurant, specialty dining options, a pool bar, a gourmet café, the iconic Raffles Long Bar, and the celebrated Writer’s Bar.
The resort will also cater to elegant events and milestone celebrations with a state-of-the-art ballroom and versatile indoor and outdoor meeting spaces. Residents will benefit from access to exclusive beach and mountain clubs, further enhancing the Raffles lifestyle experience.
This development reflects Raffles' and ONE Development Group's shared commitment to sustainability, integrating world-class environmental practices throughout the project.
