Rosewood Hotel Group is entering 2026 with strong momentum, driven by a wave of new openings that extend the brand into fresh destinations, new travel segments, and the fast-growing world of branded residences. Anchoring this expansion is the debut of Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin, the group’s first luxury ski resort, which also marks its arrival in one of the world’s most prestigious alpine markets. Alongside seven additional properties opening in 2025, including the flagship Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills, the group is using this growth phase to reinforce its positioning at the top of the global ultra luxury hospitality and residential landscape. Together with transformative projects such as Rosewood AMAALA on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, the pipeline underscores a strategy rooted in select, experience-rich destinations rather than volume alone.

The opening of Rosewood Courchevel Le Jardin Alpin brings the group’s 2025 tally to eight new properties across three continents, including seven Rosewood branded hotels and the New World Jinzhou Hotel in China. Nestled in Courchevel 1850, the French resort introduces the brand’s signature residential style to the slopes, combining ski-in/ski-out access with refined accommodation, elevated dining and a strong focus on art and design. An installation by artist Olafur Eliasson in the lobby sets the tone, while curated wellness experiences and intimate social spaces aim to position the property as a discreet winter base for global travelers.

Beyond the mountains, the group’s 2025 openings paint a picture of targeted global expansion. New coastal entries such as Rosewood Mandarina in Mexico and Rosewood Miyakojima in Japan deepen the portfolio in high-end resort destinations, while Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills signals a deliberate push into standalone branded residences designed for full ownership rather than hotel-style mixed-use. This residential strategy seeks to create neighborhood landmarks where emotional attachment and long-term asset value grow in tandem, reinforcing the group’s ambition in the luxury real estate space.

Looking ahead, upcoming projects show how Rosewood Hotel Group is using its pipeline to capture demand in both emerging and established luxury hubs. In Saudi Arabia, Rosewood AMAALA is being positioned as an ultra luxury regenerative retreat between the Red Sea’s vast barrier reef and the Hijazi mountains, while Rosewood Red Sea on Shura Island will anchor a new cultural and lifestyle destination with a marina, yacht club and championship golf course. In Europe, Rosewood Blue Palace and Rosewood Residences Crete will introduce the brand to Greece, and Rosewood Rome is transforming a historic former bank headquarters on Via Veneto into a contemporary urban retreat with rooftop Asaya Spa and modern Roman bathhouse. In the United States, Rosewood Calistoga and Rosewood Residences Calistoga will bring a hillside estate concept to Napa Valley, while residential projects such as Rosewood Residences Turtle Creek in Dallas and Rosewood Residences Lido Key in Florida extend the group’s foothold in prime North American markets.

This measured but ambitious growth is particularly visible in the Gulf Cooperation Council, where the forthcoming opening of Rosewood AMAALA will join Rosewood Doha, Rosewood Abu Dhabi, and the future Rosewood Dubai to create a strong regional cluster. Each new destination has been chosen for its blend of market potential and cultural resonance, with properties designed to reflect local heritage while meeting rising demand for immersive, experience-driven luxury travel. As Sonia Cheng, CEO of Rosewood Hotel Group, steers this next chapter, the company is clearly leaning into a model that balances performance, design and sense of place, using carefully selected openings to define what the “new era” of Rosewood looks like across hotels, resorts and branded residences worldwide.
