The St. Regis London is set to debut in Mayfair in autumn 2026, bringing the legacy of St. Regis Hotels & Resorts to one of London’s most prestigious addresses. Following a full renovation of the former The Westbury, the hotel will occupy a landmark position at the intersection of Bond Street and Conduit Street. The property will introduce 193 guest rooms, including 66 suites, alongside expanded public spaces, two wellness suites and a new French brasserie. With its design rooted in Mayfair’s craftsmanship, fashion and art culture, the hotel is positioned as a refined new address for luxury hospitality in the British capital.

The St. Regis London marks the brand’s highly anticipated arrival in Mayfair, a district closely associated with fashion, art, galleries, auction rooms and luxury retail. The hotel’s location at the intersection of Bond Street and Conduit Street places guests on the doorstep of some of London’s most distinguished cultural and shopping destinations. This setting gives the property a strong sense of place and aligns naturally with the brand’s long-standing identity of residential-style luxury and bespoke service.

The project is inspired by the vision of John Jacob Astor IV, founder of the original St. Regis in New York City in 1904. At The St. Regis London, that legacy is being reinterpreted for a contemporary Mayfair address. The transformation of the former The Westbury includes new floors, expanded public areas, two exclusive wellness suites and a total of 193 guest rooms, including 66 suites.

The hotel’s interiors have been designed by Richmond International. The design draws directly from Mayfair’s distinctive character, referencing the bespoke craftsmanship of Savile Row, the quiet glamour of Bond Street’s fashion houses and the cultural legacy of the neighbourhood’s galleries and auction rooms. This approach gives the property a layered identity, connecting international St. Regis traditions with the specific atmosphere of its London setting.

At the top of the hotel, the Penthouse Suite will offer one of the property’s most exclusive accommodation experiences. It will include a 150-square-meter private terrace and panoramic 360-degree views across the London skyline. This suite reinforces the hotel’s positioning at the upper end of the luxury hotel market, combining privacy, space and a direct visual connection to the city.

Food and beverage will be led by Le Perroquet, an all-day French brasserie by acclaimed Chef Daniel Rose. The restaurant will mark his first venture in the capital city, following his career in Paris with La Bourse et La Vie and in New York at Michelin-starred Le Coucou. Its arrival adds a major culinary element to the hotel’s Mayfair debut and supports the property’s role as both a guest destination and a social address for the city.

Art will also be central to the hotel’s identity. For the first time, Sarabande Foundation’s House of Bandits gallery will curate and display the property’s entire art collection. The collection will feature more than 1,000 artworks by over 80 artists, placed throughout bedrooms, suites and public spaces.

The art programme will also include bespoke commissions by artists supported by Sarabande Foundation, the creative foundation established by Lee Alexander McQueen. These works are intended to transform the property into a living gallery, with each piece inspired by the destination and rooted in the hotel’s history and future. This gives The St. Regis London a strong cultural dimension and connects the hotel to Mayfair’s wider artistic environment.

Service will remain anchored by the signature St. Regis Butler Service. At the centre of every stay, a dedicated St. Regis Butler will provide the anticipatory service that has defined the brand for more than a century. This emphasis on personal attention, discretion and bespoke care is central to the hotel’s interpretation of modern residential luxury.

The property will also feature richly layered interiors and an intimate central courtyard, creating spaces for both privacy and social rituals. These elements reflect the wider St. Regis tradition of refined gathering, cultural patronage and elegant hospitality. In Mayfair, those traditions are being adapted to a neighbourhood shaped by craftsmanship, art, fashion and quiet prestige.

With The St. Regis London, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts adds a new address to a global portfolio of more than 65 luxury hotels and resorts in leading destinations around the world. For Marriott, the project brings one of its most distinguished luxury brands to a landmark site in central London. For Mayfair, the debut introduces a renewed hotel shaped by heritage, design, art, culinary ambition and the enduring service culture of St. Regis.
